How to use Amagi

Welcome to Amagi: live streams, PK battles, audio rooms, video calls, reels, stories and chat in one app. This guide walks you through it step by step.

Getting started

Open the app and tick the box to accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Sign in with Connect with Google, Sign in with Apple (iPhone) or More Login Methods → Login with phone number (you get a code by SMS).
Fill in your profile: name, gender, date of birth, country, photo and a few words about yourself.
Pick your interests and follow a few popular creators, or skip this step. If a friend invited you, enter their invite code now: it can be entered only right after signing up.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Amagi.

The bar at the bottom has five tabs: Home (the feed), Live, Create (+), Inbox and Profile. Tap the current tab again to scroll to the top and refresh.

Your profile

Edit profile changes your photo, name and bio.
Your date of birth can be set only once. Gender and country can't be changed after you confirm them, so check them carefully.
Profile tabs show your reels, reposts, liked videos, posts and Saved. Only you can see Saved.
The menu ☰ at the top opens Coins · top up, Wallet and withdrawals, AMAGI Status (level, rating, VIP, guardians, fan club, Amagi teams), Who viewed me, Help center and Settings.
Private account (in Settings): only your followers see your posts. New followers send a request, and you Accept or Decline it under Follow requests in your profile.
Share your profile with a link. Other people can Follow you, send you a Message or a gift, and add you as a friend (Add friend).

Feed and reels

The Home tab has four feeds at the top: Friends, Following, For you and Posts (photo and text posts).
Swipe up for the next reel. Double-tap or tap the heart to like. You can also comment, Repost with a caption, save, share or send a gift.
For you learns from what you watch, like, save and comment on. Not interested? Open ⋯ → Show less like this, Hide videos from… or Why am I seeing this?. Manage your topics and hidden creators in ☰ → Your interests, or tap Refresh For You to start over.
Where available, reels have Subtitles in your language, and captions can be translated with Translate.
Watching for a long time? Amagi will gently suggest a short break.

Posting

Tap Create (+) and choose Video, Go live, Photo, Text or Story. A video can be trimmed and cropped, and you can pick a cover. Add hashtags and @mentions so the right people find your post.

Options when posting:

Fans only — only your fan club members see the media.
Adults only (18+) — hidden from minors and from people who haven't set a date of birth.
Paid post — opens for the number of coins you choose; the income is yours.

Some posts are checked by moderation first; until then only you can see them. To edit or delete your post, open its ⋯ menu.

Stories

Tap Create (+) → Story and choose a photo, text or video (up to 60 seconds; a longer video can be trimmed).
A story disappears after 24 hours. You can see how many people viewed yours.
Stories appear in the row at the top of Inbox. Press and hold to pause, tap to go to the next one.
Reply to a story: your message goes to your chat with the author. You can also send the author a gift.

Lives

The Live tab shows streams happening now. Filter them by All, Live streaming, PK battle or Audio room. You will also find Stream schedule, search and the Leaderboard there.
In a live you can chat, tap the screen to send likes, follow the host and send gifts.
More → Ask to join to become a guest on screen. When the host accepts, your camera and microphone stay off until you turn them on. Leave guests makes you a viewer again.
A Private Live shows a lock: you enter by sending the gift the host has chosen. Members of the host's fan club enter for free.
Streams announced in advance are in Stream schedule: tap Remind me, or buy a ticket if the stream is paid.
Minimize keeps the stream playing in a small window. Share the stream sends a link to it.

PK battles

A PK battle is a timed duel between streamers. Viewers decide the winner: every gift becomes points for the side it was sent to.

1v1 — two hosts on one screen.
2 vs 2 — two teams of two hosts.
Battle with guests — guests join on screen during the battle. A gift to a guest goes to that guest and does not change the score.

When you send a gift during a battle, choose who receives it. The top supporters of each side are shown on screen. When the round ends, the hosts can agree to one more round.

Video and voice calls

Open a chat with the person and tap the video or phone icon at the top.
Before the call you see the price per minute, or Free. The price is set by the person you are calling.
Fair billing: paid time starts only when both of you are connected. If the call does not connect, is declined or is missed, nothing is charged.
Each minute is paid at its start. When your balance runs low you see a warning, and the call ends when the coins run out. If one side loses the connection for a long time, the call ends and the silence is not charged.
Don't want calls? Turn off Accept voice and video calls in Settings → New messages notification. To set your own price or make calls to you free, open Settings → Calls.

Audio rooms

An audio room is a live with voices only, with 8, 12 or 16 seats.
Listeners ask the host for a seat, and the host can also invite you to a seat. Leave your seat to become a listener again.
The person speaking is highlighted, and everyone sees a muted microphone. You can send a gift to anyone on a seat.

Chat

Inbox has two sections, Chats and Notifications, plus LIVE NOW and the stories row.
Send text, emoji, photos, voice messages (press and hold to record, slide up to cancel) and gifts.
Under your last message you see Sent, Delivered or Read.
Press and hold a message to Copy it, Open a photo or Try again if it was not sent. Edit corrects your own text message within 15 minutes; both of you then see Edited.
Tap Translate under a message to read it in your language, and Show original to go back.
The ⋯ menu of a chat has Add into blacklist, Clear chat history and Report.

Gifts, coins and diamonds

Coins pay for gifts, private lives, paid calls, paid posts, fan clubs and more. Gifts can be sent in lives, battles and chats, under reels and posts, on stories and from a profile. Choose a quantity (×1, ×5, ×10, ×99): the coins are charged once for the whole amount. You can't send a gift to yourself.
Diamonds are what creators receive for gifts and paid features, and creators can withdraw them. See the Creator guide.
Bonus coins come from the Daily bonus (☰ → Check in), tasks and rewards. They can be spent, but never withdrawn.

Buying coins

In the app: ☰ → Coins · top up → Top up, then choose a coin package. Payment goes through the App Store or Google Play, and refunds follow their rules.
On the website: open amagi.social/topup, enter the ID from your profile or your username, and pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or crypto. You get more coins for the same money than in the app stores, and you can also top up a friend's account.
Coins can't be exchanged back for money. Every top-up and purchase is listed in your coin history.
Payment didn't arrive? Contact support from the Wallet and include the order number.
Never buy coins from strangers and never share your account details: that is fraud.

Privacy and safety

Report: open the ⋯ menu of a profile, reel, post, comment, chat or live, choose Report and a reason.
Block: open the person's profile → ⋯ → Block. They can't message you, call you or see your posts. Unblock them from their profile or in Settings → Blacklist.
Who can contact you: blocked people can't. You can turn off calls or make them free, and a private account shows your posts only to followers.
Minors: registration is open from 16. Adults can message or call users aged 16–17 only if they are friends, and 18+ posts are hidden from minors. Parents can use Settings → Parental control.
My violations (in Settings) lists moderation decisions about your account, and you can Appeal them.
Amagi staff will never ask for your password, SMS code or a payment outside the app.

Account and settings

Open ☰ → Settings:

Account and security — link a phone number, email, Google or Apple; see your Devices and Sign out of all other devices.
Language — pick a language from the list (with search) or follow the phone's language. Appearance — light, dark or system.
Notifications — choose what you get: likes, comments and mentions, followers, messages and calls, lives, PK battles, gifts, earnings and news. Security, account, moderation and payout notifications always arrive.
Privacy — camera, photos, microphone and location permissions.

Deleting your account

Settings → Account and security → Cancel account, then enter your ID to confirm. The account is hidden at once and you are signed out on all devices. For 30 days you can restore it: sign in again and tap Restore. While a withdrawal request is being processed, the account can't be deleted. See also Delete your account.
